Job Overview
Opportunity to join a high impact transformation team working on the delivery of our extensive UK Profitability capability. This role will support and drive our development roadmap specifically around the new capability in analytics, modelling and visualisations. We are looking for an individual with a can-do attitude who can work across stakeholders to drive delivery using emerging capabilities and achieve a step change in value-based analytics to ensure Profitability underpins commercial decision making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the Analytics agenda in Profitability from conception to working with business users to validate understanding of model logic and drive adoption.
• Understand the data landscape around profitability reporting including organisation and product taxonomy, hierarchies, source system landscape and data flows
• Define and own the roadmap for delivery of profitability analytics by segment
• Creation of Analytics Dashboards and packs by segment to be available to Mid to Senior management

Experience needed

Able to demonstrate experience of:

• 5+ years' experience of Financial Modelling/ Visualisations
• Strong interpretative skills including the ability to go beyond numbers to generate hypotheses and to make sound business recommendations
• High level of intellectual curiosity, with a creative approach to problem solving and a passion to learn and develop
• Strong team working & communication skills. Ability to challenge and influence key stakeholders to achieve an aligned vision for delivery
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodology desired but not essential
• Degree in a relevant field
• Knowledge of Financial tools e.g. Power BI/ Python/ Qlik Sense/ SQL
  • Transformational technical skills beneficial but not essential.
