Finance Analyst - Salary £23,000 -£26,000 + Benefits - Permanent - Manchester

An innovative and forward thinking well know market leader is seeking a Finance Analyst to join their Shared Service Centre based in Manchester. The successful candidate will be studying towards a professional finance qualification and have experience of Balance sheet reconciliations or Bank Reconciliation

Reporting into the Finance Manager, the main purpose of the Finance Analyst role is to:

• Maintain periodic merchant service charge (MSC) accounts, ensuring accruals and deferred payments are allocated accordingly, and invoices raised.

• Co-ordinate and deliver periodic reporting on KPI and MI data for Retail Takings, ensuring that all process owners provide information in a timely fashion
• Produce and monitor performance against budget and Q2F for all channels.

Key requirements for the role:

• CIMA/ACCA/AAT - Studying towards
• Month end experience - including - Balance sheet reconciliation or Bank Reconciliation
• Strong experience of financial accounting processes including risk and control
• Excellent communication skills including Stakeholder Management both orally and written
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Oracle Financials would be an advantage
• Excellent forward planning and organisational skills
• Network and partnering skills, impact and influence
• Ability to interrogate data, spotting trends, patterns and anomalies and advise accordingly
