The Senior Manager, Group Risk is responsible for the design, development and implementation of the risk management framework to help our people make smart, informed decisions under uncertainty, take on the right risks and deliver the right results.You will lead development and implementation of the governance structures, risk management processes and other key elements, like culture, that will enable an organisation to understand its landscape of risk as it carries out key decisions and business operations.
*Stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to communicate effectively with the highest levels of management and decision-making within the organization.
*Experienced in design and implementation of risk management and assurance frameworks and tools including the Three Lines of Defence model.
*Ability to communicate effectively internally across large organisations with others involved in risk and assurance. Ability to communicate effectively externally to bring in outside thinking on risk and assurance.
Skill / experience:
*4+ years of experience in risk and assurance management in organisations commensurate with the scale and complexity.
*Experience helping business leaders make quality decisions under high degrees of uncertainty and complexity;
*Understanding of external requirements in relation to risk management, in particular the UK Corporate Governance Code.
*Familiarity with risk management tools and techniques - risk modelling expertise desirable but not essential.
