GiBe Finance are delighted to be exclusively supporting a project-based business in Horsham, recruiting a Finance Director for their UK business.

With a strong and capable team underneath, the role focuses around driving best practice, improving financial processes and supporting in the strategic direction of the business.

Salary is £90-110k and the work-from-home split is 50/50, with parking on-site for the days you are in Horsham.

The Role
  • Drive FP&A processes, including financial planning at an executive level, setting up all processes related to short-term and long-term revenue forecasting and developing financial targets with relevant business and executive stakeholders
  • Support the senior management sales team in implementing the strategic direction of the business
  • Develop, build and maintain key operational and financial key performance indicators
  • Risk management - support Project Managers by quantifying/assessing project-related exposures/opportunities on an ongoing basis and follow up on action plans
  • Responsible for the reporting of working capital, identifying inefficiencies, setting targets, and leading initiatives to improve working capital ratios in coordination with Group Cash department
  • Oversee local and global insurance in coordination with legal department
  • Ensure financial compliance for the business with all local and group regulations (legal and fiscal regulations)
  • Identify and action continuous improvement opportunities - finance processes, procedures & systems
  • Manage all of the company's year-end closing accounting, payroll and tax-related activities - ensuring proper local and group reporting
  • Manage external and internal audit

Your Profile
  • Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Experience in a project-based business
  • Effective communicator - written and verbally
  • Senior finance experience in either a #1 or #2 capacity
  • Drive to succeed - improving processes & procedures across the business
