LTA / Reed Education are seeking an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide 1-to-1 support to a Pupil at a positive and hard working Primary School in the Nelson area. This new TA2 role is a part-time temporary position covering 5 afternoons per week, from 12:30-16:00. This role is to start in January 2022 until the summer.

In this role the candidate will be providing 1-to-1 support to a Preschool pupil with ECHP, and has visual impairment & complex physical needs.

The candidate MUST be confident to support the pupil with moving and handling and Personal Care.

The candidate must have:

-Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

-Moving and Handling Qualification

Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:

•Monitoring targets for future progress

•Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers

•Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils

•Monitoring pupils progress in reference with the school's practice

•Excellent behaviour management skills
