The Company:

My client are a business on a mission to make better outcomes for all through the excellent provision and management of IT solutions in educational establishments.

As an 'Investors In People - Gold' employer, They have excellent engagement and wellbeing practices, which in turn drives an excellent service for our clients.

They are on the lookout for their next Account Manager to really help grow new business whilst servicing their existing portfolio of clients.

The Role:

* Apply proactive and innovative account management and sales strategies ensuring client needs are met and sales opportunities are maximised
* Use analytical and responsive negotiation strategies to win new business, maintain and improve recurring revenue and provide the best possible IT servicing for our clients
* Have client needs and IT service tailoring as the key driver for any sales agreement and account management
* Effectively build professional and trusting relationships with client schools to maintain and build your portfolio of accounts
* Manage client objections and expectations confidently when discussing service provision
* Make regular contact with clients to ensure services are being delivered satisfactorily, including post-project follow-up calls
* Work with Technical Leads to help improve the provision of IT in our client schools
* Develop and expert knowledge of current IT solutions, products and services.
* Produce quotations and proposals for existing clients and new business opportunities
* Monitoring and responding quickly to new sales opportunities on the Sales Board
* Win referrals and positive social media responses through excellent service and promote ethos in all communications
* Use analytical and responsive negotiation strategies to win new business, maintain and improve recurring revenue and provide the best possible IT servicing for our clients
* Maintain Company records and pipeline Opportunities to provide excellent visibility of future business
* Liaise with key vendors to register larger opportunities

The Candidate:

* To have around 4 years' experience of Account Management or else highly transferrable skills that tightly meet the demands of this role
* Excellent computer literacy and a sound understanding of IT networking
* To be able to identify and prioritise your responsibilities, using sales and account management strategies and IT platforms to deliver at an optimal level
* Understand the sales cycle and plan strategically to manage this using a staged approach
* Have significant experience of managing large numbers of clients, using both long and short term sales objectives
* Have excellent knowledge of CRM (ConnectWise) platforms to maximise sales opportunities
* To have a service orientated approach to your work, valuing clients and the work they do

NB: As well as having many of the skills needed for the role, you will be someone who really does have an interest in the power of education and a natural affiliation for providing excellent service to your clients.

The Benefits:

* £24,000 - £28,000
* Level 3 Management Position
