Management Consultant - Banking and Financial Services

£40,000 - £60,000 base plus bonus and benefits

Flexi working - office is London based

A mid cap, pan European consulting firm (circa 1500 staff) who have experienced great growth over the past 24 months are looking to hire management consultants to assist with the delivery of a wide range of projects. These projects are within some of the largest banking and financial services companies in the world and cover a range of change and transformation programmes.

The role has some excellent training and development opportunities that will allow you to drive your professional development forward in a very rounded way. You will be involved with:

  • Mapping and documenting processes from ' as-is ' to ' to-be ' to support the provision of services in a variety of locations across multiple activities
  • Creating business plans and business cases for change projects
  • PMO and project management activities, producing RAID logs and managing risks to timelines and budgets
  • Design and delivery of Target Operating models (TOMs)
  • Process-mapping and analysis, leading to process improvements
  • Organising and enabling workshops for stakeholders to gather business requirements, leading to the creation of Functional requirement specifications

In order to do this, it is likely that you will have business analysis or management consulting experience and possess some or all the following skills and attributes:

  • Work experience gained in a large, complex organisation, preferably within financial services
  • Strong analytical skills and experience of data analysis and process mapping
  • Proven track record of implementing and managing change
  • Strong communication skills, and the confidence to liaise with a variety of stakeholders with differing priorities
  • Ability to understand the bigger picture within a large corporate environment
  • Well-developed skills in MS Excel and Visio
