Compliance Monitoring Manager

A large Financial Services firm in London are seeking a Compliance Monitoring Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and delivering training and support to the assurance team on revised methodologies, tools and templates
• Investigating operational processes and report in accordance with agreed standards, either as individually or working with compliance colleagues
• Supporting the Head of Compliance Monitoring with the design and delivery of a risk based annual Compliance Assurance Plan
• Developing and delivering the methodology and process documents required to enable the delivery of the compliance monitoring and assurance plan
• Investigating operational processes and report in accordance with agreed standards, either as individually or working with compliance colleagues
• Producing quality reporting to the Executive Committee, Audit Committee and senior leadership team

Requirements:

• Good experience of delivering assurance either in internal audit, surveillance, assurance or monitoring
• Previous experience of designing and implementing a compliance monitoring framework, risk universe and risk-based methodologies
• A strong sense of accountability, of knowing what they are responsible for and proactively delivering it
• Previous experience of third-party risk management and data protection e.g. GDPR, SYSC
• Previous experience of coaching or managing team members
