Engineering Stores Planner, Mon - Fri Days, 4 week contract

Our Rochester (Kent) client requires temporary support to their engineering team in the role of Stores Engineering Planner . This is a 4 week + temporary role effectively up to Xmas but may continue into January.

  • To support the site Maintenance Planner in Engineering planning activities but primarily review stores and manually organise/re-organise to optimise spares holding to effective levels and optimum efficiency.
  • Stock monitoring & ordering. Assessment of parts movement versus demand and data
  • Data Input and updating of computerised maintenance management / stores software.
  • Suggest and implement new idea's for stock levels and improvement of overall process.
  • Support with maintenance scheduling.

  • The successful applicant will have gained their experience within a manufacturing / logistics industry and will be knowledgeable around Engineering spares and components.
  • You must be computer literate with experience of using a CMMS system

This position works INSIDE of IR35
4 Week plus contract
Pay rate: £19.00 per hour

This position will suit candidates with the previous titles of; Stores Engineering Planner, Engineering Coordinator, Maintenance Planner, Stores Coordinator, Storeman, Storesperson, Engineering Storeman.
