In-House Solicitor / CILEX Qualified Legal Executive

Fully Remote

£50,000 - £60,000 DOE

Reed Legal are currently recruiting for an in-house Solicitor / CILEX Qualified Legal Executive for one of their Energy clients who have offices across the UK. Our client is looking for a qualified Solicitor or a CILEX Legal Executive who would be keen to move into a specialist contracts position, where you'd play a key role in supporting business stakeholders and the wider in-house Legal department with contract negotiations and reviews.

This role will see you joining an international organisation who hold a strong presence within the Energy sector. They have multiple offices across the UK so this role can be fully remote with occasional travel to either their Hartlepool or Newcastle office.

A typical day will involve:

• Reviewing customer T&C's for contracts relating to the purchase of all products and services.
• Reviewing T&C's of contracts and advising on company exceptions
• Conducting contract negotiations and agreeing contract terms to mitigate risks to the business
• Providing contractual input on bid submissions and finalising contracts
• Reviewing customer contracts and/or purchase orders in relation to T&C's
• Consulting with external law firms to gain up-to-date legal advice pertaining to contracts in-order to mitigate risk to the business

This role would ideally suit a qualified solicitor or CILEX qualified Legal Executive who has worked within a contractual environment, with a comprehensive understanding of Commercial Contract and Construction Law. This opportunity will offer a negotiable and attractive salary, plus the flexibility to work fully remote.

If this sounds like the type of role you have been looking for please apply with an up to date CV or get in touch with Zoe MacMillan for more information.
