The Role

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager (minimum 25 hours per week) to lead the marketing and comms function of an exciting not-for-profit startup on a mission to make positive change. The day-to-day deliverables will include planning, assigning and disseminating marketing content, organising release schedules and supervising freelancers. We are essentially looking for someone to help our informational health video content reach the people who will benefit from it most.

About You

You have extensive experience in marketing informational video content and social media marketing. You are an excellent copywriter with a passion for telling impactful stories in inspiring ways. You have exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships. You can turn raw data into successful marketing strategies.

What is LivedHealth?
LivedHealth is a newly-established digital health startup. We are a free, online video resource that shines light on difficult long-term health challenges. Expert insiders - patients and professionals - tell it like it is.

Founded in September 2020, LivedHealth is a Community Interest Company (CIC) limited by guarantee; a non-profit social enterprise. We believe health information is more effective when it's powered by lived experience. LivedHealth is currently producing video content for two health communities: people living with multiple sclerosis and people with Parkinson's disease.

ROLE DELIVERABLES

Marketing of video content

- scheduling weekly video releases over YouTube and other channels

- optimise videos through descriptions, keywords, titles and tags

- engage with community over comments

- manage video analytics across the organisation

Social media

- manage LivedHealth's' Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok accounts

- create and schedule regular content across all channels

- engage with community

Communications

- develop and manage communications plans across other channels including our website, email and PR

- develop materials for healthcare professionals

- write frequent blog posts

KEY EXPERIENCE

Marketing of video content
Managing social media channels
Google Ads and Facebook Ads
Utilising video optimisation tools such as TubeBuddy to improve performance
Excited about working for a growing startup, dedicated to making a positive difference to people's lives
Extremely organised and self-motivated

OTHER INFORMATION
Hours: 25 - 37.5 hours a week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £27,000-£30,000 pro rata, dependent on relevant experience
Annual leave: 28 days per annum pro rata (inclusive of time between Christmas and New Year), plus public holidays

Place of work: This is a remote position based within the UK. Regular travel within the UK will be required.
