What does a Global IT Security Operations Manager at Collinson do?

•This is a management role that will encompass a breadth of skills across threat and vulnerability management, security monitoring and alerting, security incident response, intrusion detection, penetration testing, and security engineering

•You will take full responsibility and hands-on technical ownership of global IT Security and help develop our new security operations centre to deliver a range of security services.

•You will help design a long-term IT Security strategy with the CISO whilst managing and investigating incidents.

•This is an operational role leading global IT Security from inception through to delivery.

•Develop and maintain the overall IT Security Strategy including objectives and KPIs.

•You will use innovative approaches to review the IT Security strategy through different perspectives to identify gaps and opportunities if required.

•You will optimize the existing and pipeline delivery portfolio leading to performance improvement and embed strategic alignment into the business justification process.

•You will monitor the progress of strategic goals via KPIs and identify barriers to achievement.

•Work with the CTO and Technology Partners to ensure our IT Security solutions and services are reliable, secure, and available to maintain a long-term view and meet the agreed service standards, objectives, and costs.

•Work with global and regional stakeholders to support the development, testing, and implementation of new IT Security services, solutions, and propositions.

•Become the 'go-to person for IT Security Operations leadership within Collinson.

•You will be ambitious and inquisitive as to the art of the possible with a hands-on attitude.

How will you make a difference as a Global IT Security Operations Manager within Collinson?

•Deep commercial knowledge and experience working as an IT Security Manager ideally gained within a global services enterprise.

•A proven ability in ethical hacking running large-scale security scans and interpreting results.

•Deep knowledge of threat and vulnerability management techniques and tools as well as the ability to run vulnerability tests in a complex IT architecture

•Applicants will have a breadth and depth of experience in IT Security Management including the development, implementation, measurement, and delivery of strategic plans.

•Proven capability to lead the response to security incidents and manage them to a conclusion.

•Can demonstrate effective use of firewalls, network segmentation, intrusion detection and prevention systems, wireless security technologies, and a wide range of technical security tooling.

•Capable of managing delivery, performance, and profitability across major technology implementation projects delivering best-in-class solutions.

•Proven ability to develop Security Penetration testing and incident management using common technical and organisational security controls.

•Capable of embedding governance and planning processes within a global company.

•A natural problem-solver who can make recommendations at pace, encouraging growth, development, and inspiring others through strong leadership skills.

•Self-driven and constantly striving to improve security solutions through innovation.

•A high comfort level with ambiguity, able to navigate challenging opinions with ease

•Persuasive communication skills with the ability to simplify complex Service interactions and build strategic relationships with partner organizations.

•Ideally a professional IT Security qualification, e.g., CISMP, CISSP, CISA, or CISM.

•Capable of cultivating a strong work ethic both independently, as well as collaborating with cross-functional global teams up to board level stakeholders to solve complex problems.

•This role will offer a blend of remote working being based in our London office and some travel within the EMEA regions.
