Parts Manager
  • £30k Salary
  • Monday to Friday
  • State of the art Working Environment

The Company

Having been established for almost 30 years, our client is a safe employer during uncertain times. They are actually continuing to grow and expand!

With a new state of the art facility in Peterborough, our client is a market leader in working conditions and pride themselves in creating great working environments for their staff.

The Role

For our client's Parts Manager role, we are looking for individuals who have previous experience of working in a parts environment in either a management or supervisory capacity and who possess excellent organisational skills along with verbal and written communication skills and are accurate and efficient in their work.

We are looking to bring an experienced Parts Manager into the team to lead their parts department of up to 10 members of staff. This role is different to others as this is a purely internal role, therefore, no customers do deal with! You are required to keep the large workshop busy and ensure efficiency for the business.

You will be experienced in the ordering and receiving of parts. Working in a high-volume, fast paced environment would be an advantage but not essential. You must be diligent, hardworking, organised, and accurate.

Working closely with the bodyshop and service teams, the successful Parts Manager will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the Parts Department. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Accurately and efficiently receive and record parts into stock
  • Manage and organise stock in the branch
  • Maintain stock levels to ensure the branch has the required stock but whilst managing overage stock
  • Liaising with the service team to ensure they have the relevant parts for workshop jobs
  • Maintain stock lists
  • Take responsibility for holiday, disciplinary and other management responsibilities.

The Package
  • £30,000 Basic Salary
  • Monday to Friday
  • Paid Holiday
  • Pension Contributions
