Role: Drainage Survey Team Leader
Salary: £21-23,000 + Overtime
Essential Criteria: Drivers license and some waste water network / drainage experience
My client is looking for a Drainage Technician / Team Leader to join their expanding division due to increased work flow released from Thames Water.
Due to the office location you will need to be based with in a maximum of 10 miles of Brentford. The role is typically site based across the West London with occasional office presence needed.
In this role you will be attached to waste water network schemes in a client facing capacity and working as part of a two person team. You will be the lead surveyor in the team and have an assistant / junior surveyor reporting into you. Training can be provided on technical aspects of the role so a drainage background is not essential as long as you can operate in customer facing role and have a full drivers license.
You will be attached to pollution tracing activities which involves identifying if waste water networks are connected to the correct sewer networks. This will be achieved by putting dye into the network and assessing where in the network this goes. Please note all assessment is done at street level by lifting man hole covers and not sewer entry is required.
In this role your will be responsible for:
·Managing your own work load - eg given specific locations to investigate and you plan your own routes and schedules
·Managing the assistant survey on a day to day basis including mentoring and training
·Completing reports on work carried out
·Client facing and interaction with general public
In order to be suitable for the position you will need:
·Full UK drivers license
·Experience of waste water networks such as drainage, CCTV surveying or similar
This is a full time Monday - Friday role working 40 hours per week paying £21,000 -£23,000 dependant on experience and possible overtime available
