Our Nottingham Reed Further Education branch are seeking an experienced Work Based Learning Manager in Engineering & Science who also has experience delivering help to Apprenticeship students for a Further Education client in the Cambridge area.

The role is a permanent role looking for an immediate start.

-Duration - Permanent/Full-Time

-Salary - £35,000 to £40,344.22 PA

We have an exciting opportunity for a Work Based Learning Manager for Engineering & Science to join our team. You will join us on a full-time basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary.

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated and confident manager to take ownership of our client's Engineering & Science apprenticeship programmes.

We are looking for an individual with experience of management of apprenticeship programmes in Engineering and Science, a confident manager who can lead and motivate our team of Assessors to ensure positive outcomes are obtained for all students.

An in-depth knowledge of current Engineering & Science apprenticeship Standards is essential, and candidates need to demonstrate this through the application process. You will also have responsibility for key performance indicators relating to the progress of apprentices on programme within your remit.

What you will need

Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS) or equivalent.

Level 4 + in either Subject Specific Specialism(Engineering/Science).

PGCE or equivalent.

Minimum L2 or equivalent in specialist skills area e.g.

• English

• Maths

Must be prepared to undergo training.

Prepared to work to programme needs in a variety of subjects.

Able to travel independently and work in the community if required

Knowledge of Engineering/Science

Able to differentiate teaching

Able to provide 1:1 and group teaching

Good administration and organisational skills

Highly developed, effective interpersonal skills
