We are urgently seeking an experienced and skilled Fleet Manager to be responsible for ensuring the vehicle fleet is managed and maintained in such a manner as to support operations in the most efficient way possible across 22,000 properties for our large housing client based in London NW1.

The Fleet Manager will be responsible for meeting regularly with supervisors and heads of service to discuss ways to meet or exceed corporate goals, assisting to manage the budget for all fleet costs such as leases, petrol, repairs, etc.

They will coordinate, administer and monitor the maintenance, repair, replacement and logistics of company vehicles; conduct analysis of vehicle status and make recommendations for timely replacement, including type of vehicles, spares etc. in order to improve cost-efficiency; identify new systems and process to ensure a better utilisation of the fleet, provide VfM and develop relationships with all stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate the following:
  • Minimum of 3 years demonstrable fleet management experience
  • Strong technical understanding of vehicle systems and technology
  • MUST hold a valid Driving license
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Assertive and confident
  • Excellent IT skills

Hybrid working - 2 days in office with some travel to inspect fleet
