Excellent opportunity for an experienced and passionate Ecommerce Coordinator to join a dynamic team at this heritage British Lighting Designer and Manufacturer founded in the 1930s.

From the creation of the iconic Original 1227™ desk lamp to the development of extended collections by esteemed industrial designer Sir Kenneth Grange, to recent collaborations with fashion designers Paul Smith and Margaret Howell, design integrity remains at the heart of this progressive British brand. Today, Anglepoise lamps can be found in homes, offices, restaurants, bars, and hotels in over 50 countries.

As Ecommerce Coordinator you will have responsibility for delivering day to day performance marketing and ecommerce activity, reporting to the Head of Marketing.

Responsibilities:

Marketing Materials and Tools:

+ Manage online merchandising.
+ Update website copy and content ensuring all content is uniform, consistent and set up correctly for SEO benefit (working closely with our agency partners).
+ Work with marketing coordinator to check and maintain visual assets across each website are correct and up to date (and show the brand and products at their best).
+ Ensure all product technical data is up to date and correct for each market.
+ Monitor website performance, improve SEO and CRO. Provide updates for Head of Marketing including monthly reporting using insights from ecommerce platform and Google Analytics.
+ Work with marketing coordinator to maintain brand consistency across social platforms and websites.
+ Liaise with partner agencies to ensure optimum performance of the site at all times.
+ Maintain communications between the website, the internal Customer Support team and Marketing.
+ Conduct regular competitor analysis; share insights with marketing team
+ Manage and update the Customer Service portal and FAQ pages.
+ Manage ecommerce customer database/eCRM database ensuring all data is GDPR compliant and up to date.
+ To stay up-to-date with best practice ecommerce merchandising via conferences, events, modules and then to pass knowledge and learnings on to wider teams.

Technical Knowledge:

+ Good level of competence in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly excel
+ Good understanding of Google Analytics and other technical tools
+ Good technical ability with WordPress and Woocommerce (or similar platforms) and other online tools
+ Strong working knowledge of SEO, UX and A/B testing
+ Develop and maintain a good understanding of Anglepoise product range

Project Management:

+ Responsible for managing designated marketing projects
+ Establishes project specific goals, communicates them effectively to all project stakeholders, and devises strategies in order to meet them effectively and efficiently
+ Creates and executes appropriate project work plans and revises them as required to meet changing needs and requirements
+ Identifies resources required and assigns individual responsibilities
+ Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope

Candidate

We are looking for a highly driven person with experience of digital performance marketing and ecommerce merchandising and in a brand based business. You will ideally have:

+ 3+ years relevant experience of marketing
+ Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate discipline OR industry recognised certification
+ Excellent communication skills, particularly written.
+ Strong digital marketing and ecommerce experience
+ Good technical ability with CMS, SEO, UX and online tools
+ An all-encompassing desire to roll up your sleeves and get the job done
