Finance Assistant job in Walsall, temporary job to start immediately.
Your new company
You will be joining a business in the Education sector who support a wide individual and organisation base. Their ethos is about supporting, challenging and inspiring the young population and they work with a range of leaders to achieve excellent results. They are an established organisation that have an additional temporary requirement within the Finance team.
Your new role
This is a temporary role for at least 4 weeks, there could be an opportunity to go permanent. Full time working hours across Monday to Friday, working on site. The role is varied and plays a key part in the Finance function, with duties including:
- purchase ledger duties, setting up accounts, dealing with queries and resolving them, payment runs, inputting invoices
- raising purchase orders
- raising sales invoices
- supporting with monthly payroll and funding journals
- run and review aged creditor reports
- support with audit
- support with other ad hoc finance administration
What you'll need to succeed
This is working with an engaging and fast paced finance team, experience and confidence would be beneficial in this role. You will be able to work well with a team and be comfortable with prioritising your own workload also. The role requires an immediate start.
