Agile Delivery Manager - ERP HR experience essential. Managing the HR Product Owner team. 6 months to 2 year contract paying £550/day INSIDE IR35 UMBRELLA PAY. 60% REMOTE AND 40% ONSITE
My Higher Education client seeks a dynamic and astute 'consultant like' Agile Delivery Manager who can oversee and act as a go-between the HR & Development team. We need someone with string ERP HR experience but can manage a difficult HR team with the highest consultancy and customer service possible as you will be managing the HR Product Owner team.
Short description of the role/requirements
We are looking for an experienced Agile Delivery Manager who has a proven track record of managing exacting stakeholders, customers and third parties, to manage an Enterprise Resource Planning Product Team.
The candidate should have experience supporting agile product teams. Ideally, the candidate would have experience in Oracle eBS product management.
Agile Delivery Manager responsibilities:
Deliver projects and platforms using the appropriate agile delivery methodology, learning & iterating frequently
Work with the Product Owner to define the delivery roadmap with appropriate level of detail with key stakeholders, and translate this into user stories
Lead and facilitate the collaborative, dynamic planning process - prioritizing the work that needs to be delivered against the capacity and capability of the team
Demonstrable experience of risk management.
Establish dialogue with the business and confirm governance structure for the project delivery.
Determine resources required to deliver the project.
Produce plans appropriate for the methodology for the delivery of the project and determine the critical path.
Facilitate the development of the testing approach and ensure that sufficient user acceptance testing is in place.
Ensure project compliance with information security, data protection and related standards and policies.
Brief team on project and confirm expectations, level of time commitment required and specific objectives.
Manage third party suppliers.
Monitor people resource activity and project team's specific contribution ensuring that commitments are being met.
Manage competing requirements for resources.
Identify and act upon any shortfalls in performance.
Preparing, monitoring, and reporting on the project budget and authorizing expenditure within pre-agreed limits.
Providing robust financial control and discipline throughout the project delivery.
Maintain positive and open formal and informal dialogue with each stakeholder and ensure they are fully aware of progress and issues.
STRONG COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS AND STRONG A MUST AS IS STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT AND CLEAR CONCISE DOCUMENTATION SKILLS. Experience of managing a HR Product Ownership Team with diplomacy is very important here.
