Client Details

A public sector organisation who are rapidly expanding in the Yorkshire area, who have recently opened a hub up in central York.


The key responsibilities of the Finance Assistant role will be to assist the Finance team, predominantly the Accounts Payable department with inputting and recording invoices, and dealing with queries related to this. There will also be ad hoc tasks to support the wider finance team as required.


The successful candidate will ideally have experience within a high volume invoice processing environment, and any public sector experience will also be an advantage. However someone with a strong administrative background with good customer service skills will also be considered.

Job Offer

The successful Finance Assistant candidate will be offered the following:
  • Between £9 and £11 per hour depending on experience
  • Holiday pay included
  • Paid weekly
  • Immediate start
  • 3 month contract with good chance of extension
