This is a great opportunity to support Muscular Dystrophy UK's Major Donor and Trust teams to raise over £900k per year. You will play an important part in developing philanthropy and partnerships at MDUK and will help to secure funding to enable the charity to continue to support the 70,000 people living in the UK with a muscle-wasting condition.

The successful candidate should have:

Experience of fundraising within a high value partnerships or philanthropy team

Excellent collaboration skills, able to develop positive working relationships internally and externally

a thorough approach withvery goodattention to detail

Expectations in the role

Undertake detailedprospect researchtohelp grow the major donor pipeline
Analysedatatoidentifyandcultivate existing donors to increase their financialsupport
Attendnetwork mapping meetings with Head of Donor Relations toidentifynew prospectsfrom key charity stakeholders
Manage a small portfolio oftrusts and foundations andsecure new, multiyear fundingfor a range of MDUK projects
