My client is a large and complex business with it's UK Head Office based near Dudley. I am seeking a good "all-rounder" to join their finance team, initially on a temporary basis. This will be a varied role, where there is a strong likelihood of a permanent contract. Its been recently created to support the business as it continues to grow across multiple sites.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Ledger & balance sheet reconciliations
- Analysis of accounts
- Month end journals
- Preparation of information for VAT returns, month end, etc
- Accruals & prepayments
This will suit an immediately available person who would like to keep busy on a temporary basis, or be in the running for a development role longer term. Either way, the successful candidate will be a positive and motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
