Reporting into Deputy Chief Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director to join the Operations team to support the Deputy Chief Executive to lead on the strategic development and delivery of advocacy and empowerment services across the organisation.
As a senior leader you will support the Deputy Chief Executive in the accountability for the operational, day-to-day success of the organisation and its continued growth, through innovation and collaboration at every level. You will be part of a leadership team forum modelling our values and positive behaviors to embed inclusivity, learning and high-performance across the organisation you'll lead the teams to integrate equality, diversity and inclusion and good practice in wellbeing into everything we do, ensuring our people can feel part of the team and can operate at their best.
You will be a confident positive team player, able to work in partnership with our commissioners and wider stakeholders around our operational performance whilst engaging staff in contributing to our ongoing development.
You will have a detailed knowledge/experience of contemporary information, advice and advocacy and its application. Significant leadership skills which inspire, motive and empower staff at all levels. Detailed knowledge of operational management theory, methods and practical application. You must have significant experience as a senior manager of client service within a large complex public facing organisation, coupled with a good understanding of information, advice and guidance advocacy and empowerment. You will also be required to have experience in the public and third sector with knowledge experience in the delivery of service innovation and developments. Plus extensive leadership track record including effective people management and organisation change management experience with a focus on cultural change.
You will also have strong communication both that of written and oral skills with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate persuasively at all levels in a professional and confident manner. You will be a strong team player, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively whilst being customer and results focused.

Those selected for the interview stage will be asked to attend a 90-minute interview which will comprise of three parts: 15-20 presentation to the panel, a competency-based interview and time for Q&A.
Interviews will take place week commencing 6th December and will include the Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive.
