Charity begins at home.
You are not looking for a highly paid job, you are looking for a rewarding job.
You will work for a charity who provide a wide range of high quality, specialist and personalised care and education support to disabled people and their families.
The department is going through a restructure due to the implementation of the new finance and purchasing system. This means that you will all learn together, so no need to feel like the new recruit!
In your newly created role as Accounts Payable Assistant, you will work as part of the growing finance team and support the Finance Services Manager in processing accounts payable transactions.
You will have attention to detail especially when it comes to matching invoices, verification and reconciliation. You have no problem assisting with disputes and query resolutions internally and externally.
You'll be an experienced user of various finance systems and use Microsoft office on a daily basis, including Excel and Word. Previous experience with preferred supplier lists would be an advantage, however this is not essential.
You will have excellent personal communication skills to deal with a wide range of people that access the services. You are a highly organised person who is used to dealing with a range of sensitive issues and confidential information working under pressure.
