Personal Tax Centre Apprenticeship Programme

Programme duration: 26 months
Qualification/s you'll gain: Level 4 Apprenticeship in Taxation
Salary: £18,600 per year
Location: Newcastle only programme
Help clients meet their tax obligations whilst you progress towards becoming a qualified tax advisor.

From bots that do our number crunching to artificial intelligence that inspires our innovations, Tax is no longer bound to Excel, it's boundless. Technology in Personal Tax Centre
Technology and innovation is transforming the way we offer tax services to our clients. We work on the design and implementation of digital tax solutions to meet all their needs. Recent projects include a mobile application built to deliver personal tax services to individuals; using artificial intelligence and document intelligence to extract tax data; data analytic tools; and finding new and innovative ways in digitalizing Tax.

Are you eligible to apply?
We operate an open access policy, meaning we don't screen out applications on your academic performance alone. You will, however, need a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, and to have completed three A-levels/Five Highers (or equivalent) by the time the programme starts. Further requirements may be required, please check the website for more guidance.

- Specialise in personal tax within Financial Services
- Help deliver personal tax compliance, tax reporting and/or advisory services as part of a team
- Build important relationships with clients and senior stakeholders
- Help clients transition to the new government digital platform
