Part of the City & County Healthcare group, ICCM provides highly trained care teams for individuals who live within their own homes. We specialise in nurse-led care for adults and children with a range of disabilities such as spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, Multiple Sclerosis and Muscular Dystrophy.
All About Me
Pre my injury, I was a dedicated athlete. Now I focus my energy on rehabilitation. I'm looking for a team member who is motivated in progressing my rehab and physio regime. My team find their days are often full of activity from undertaking my personal care, helping around the house with chores, assisting with stretches and exercises to helping me get out and about.
You need to be enthusiastic, highly motivated and ready to help make things happen whilst on shift. Excellent communication skills, flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances are essential for this role. You will be assisting with personal care, moving and handling activities, domestic duties, social activities and personal interests. Previous experience in care is highly desirable, particularly in relation to physiotherapy, spinal injuries and private home care but not essential.
I require my team to be Covid aware and have a complete understanding of the need for infection control, preventative measures such as hand washing and disinfecting and wearing necessary PPE (especially a mask) when working with a vulnerable person.Applicants must hold a full, clean, UK driving licence and be confident to drive my vehicle. Applicants must also be aged 25 or above for insurance purposes. Please be advised that my property is a non-smoking environment.What we offer:
