TimePlan Education are looking for an exceptional Maths teacher to work within an Ofsted rated 'Good' school in Lewisham. You will join their highly successful Maths department on a year-long temporary contract, beginning after October half-term.

This academy's increasing popularity and flourishing reputation in the local community means that they are looking to employ a highly motivated and inspirational Maths teacher who would relish the opportunity to become part of a successful Mathematics Department.

As a Maths teacher in this school you would be working alongside team of skilled and driven practitioners, and they are seeking a colleague with similar traits to join them. You will be joining a superbly well-resourced department that has an unrelenting drive for improvement as they look to build on our success over the last three years at both GCSE and A-Level. This summer, we achieved a Progress 8 score of +0.14, with 64% pass rate 39% of our students achieved 5+ in English and Maths and an impressive 67% achieved grade 4+ in Maths, as well as 100% A*-E at A Level.

As well as state-of-the-art facilities, they have an exciting programme of trips, visits and extra-curricular activities. The successful candidate will be a creative and inspiring Maths Teacher who will:
  • Have Qualified Teacher Status
  • Have the ability to teach Mathematics up to KS4 as a minimum
  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner who can inspire students
  • Possess recent, relevant teaching experience
