Role Info:

Group HR Advisor
Basingstoke RG24
Plus benefits + support to achieve CIPD Level 5 after completion of probationary period.
Permanent, full-time.
Hours: 38.5 hours per week | 08:30 – 17:30 Monday – Thursday | 08:30 – 16:00 Friday

We are a family business with over 60 years’ experience working on some of the finest properties in the South of England. Our well-connected head office is easily accessible from Basingstoke, situated in the charming village of Sherborne St John, only a stone’s throw from the town centre and plentiful nearby amenities. Our modern office is home to our busy Group Business Support team, who benefit from free secure car parking and bright, comfortable workspaces. You will form part of a close-knit team supporting our offices and sites across all divisions in the business.

The HR Advisor Role:

As HR Advisor you will work as part of the wider HR team to provide support to managers and employees in a range of areas including recruitment, induction, learning and development and performance management. With an excellent understanding of HR legislation and good practice the HR Advisor will also contribute to departmental innovation and wider developmental initiatives across all divisions.

About You:

+ Significant HR Advisor experience
+ CIPD Level 3 qualified
+ Up-to-date working knowledge of employment law
+ Experience of being accountable for a process(es)
+ Skilled at working with and advising people at all levels
+ Working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
+ Excellent attention to detail
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Diplomacy, tact and influencing skills
+ Effective organisation and project management skills
+ Excellent IT skills and good knowledge of HR systems
+ Must be able to drive and have access to own transport
