Day House Matron

34 weeks per year

30 hours per week Monday to Friday, 10.30 - 4.30pm

Salary £11,261

We are seeking to appoint a caring and professional matron to look after the day to day domestic needs of our year 7 and 8 pupils. This role has particular responsibility for assisting with the pastoral care of those in the house and contributing to the supervision and well-being of the pupils. The successful candidate will act as an adult presence in the Junior day house, and he/she will ensure that the communal areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.

The successful candidate will need to be an excellent communicator and team worker, and be able to keep a cool head in emergencies. They must also have experience working in a school or with young people, and have the ability to deliver high quality pastoral care. Please see below for a full job description.
