SENDhelp are looking for a new Nursery Team Leader to work closely with our partners and help maintain high quality care. Could this be you?

Our agency is working with a nursery located in Woking who pride themselves on delivering holistic care to all pupils regardless of background or ability. With your help they can maintain the status quo of being the most preferred nursery in Southeast England.

This role is for a Nursery Team Leader to work full time as a permanent staff member. The successful Nursery Team Leader will have:

Previous experience working with young children
Be able to display effective communication and leadership skills
Previously worked in a leadership/ management position and can appropriately deal with staffing issues
The required level 3 qualifications in education/ health care
An enhanced DBS on the update system

As a nursery Team Leader, you will need to fulfil the role of a keyperson to an exemplary standard, providing a positive role model for team members. You will work to ensure that all nursery initiatives are fully embedded across the nursery. This involves ensuring that all staff members are carrying out their duties as effectively as possible and if appropriate you will need to put them forward to extra training days

This role also stipulates that you will need to act as a first point of contact for parent queries. Part of this involves you keeping an immaculate record of all the pupils under your care and any developments in their learning. You will need to provide day-to-day leadership and management for the team and staff across the nursery as require, often you will also be expected to travel to other nursery sites. As a nursery team leader, you will need to be proactive in the recruitment of staff, shortlisting, interviewing, and observing safer recruitment practices; whilst also bearing in mind the various equality and recruitment legislation's.
