Temporary Purchase Ledger Assistant, 6-8 week, Northampton, £12 per hour

Our client who is established with locations around the UK is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to work within their efficient, head office Accounts Payable team on a temporary basis for a period of 6 - 8 weeks to assist with excess workload.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities as the Accounts Payable Assistant will include:

* Checking and processing supplier invoices

* Statements reconciliation

* Investigating account queries

* Assisting with payment runs

This is a busy role for a candidate who is able to work to deadlines, the ability to work on their own initiative and liaising at all levels with confidence. Previous accounts payable experience dealing with high volumes is essential
