LOD are looking for an experienced Business Affairs Manager to work with the Global Communications and Public Affairs as part of LODs Managed Team for one of our Global Tech Clients. This role will suit an individual with experience in business operations, project management and contract operations/management.

This is a contract role until the end of 2021 with the possibility to be extended beyond this.

Role

  • You'll be part of a diverse team, working across regions, product areas, and functions.
  • You'll be part of a network of business affairs managers who support various areas of the business.
  • The business affairs role will provide critical operational business support to the Communications team in Europe, Middle East and Africa as well as the Government Affairs and Public Policy teams.
  • You will work closely with our Legal, Finance, Compliance and Procurement teams in order to manage contracting with partners and vendors, onboarding suppliers, overseeing purchase orders, coordinating budgets as well as other internal processes and various projects.
  • You combine creativity with organisational skills to help our teams get things done easily and improve our processes.
  • You have a strong sense of how to manage large volumes of work across highly-matrixed, complex organisations.
  • You bring a strong collaborative approach which helps as you negotiate with agencies and other partners.
  • Your role is highly cross-functional, you will engage with personnel at all levels across multiple teams (legal, finance, marketing) and external parties.


Experience

  • 3 years of experience in business operations, program management, contract operations, procurement regulations, contract documenting and/or creation of legal specifications or similar field.
  • Outstanding negotiation, operational, interpersonal, and written skills.
