Planning & Optimisation Manager - London
Perfect opportunity for a Utilities based planner with an understanding of network assets and interested in moving into a client organisation.
Location: - London
Salary: - £55,000 - £60,000 basic + Package
The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a key client with in the utility sector. Looking for a leader within their Planning function with in the production & Networks team. Someone to take the lead on the production planning, looking at the short, medium and long-term plans. Building in the additional risk factors that can affect the supply and demand within the utilities sector.
You will take the lead on creating and maintaining the optimisation plan. Looking at how to take a commodity like, Water, Electricity or Gas from the network into the customer. Then looking at the factors that can affect the supply. Such as storms, the environment, drought, floods, shortages, leakage, poor assets etc...
Working with the leadership team your role is to maintain a robust production plan through effective internal communication, management of the programme then coordinating and assessing the variables. Looking at the risks from both the controllable factors, then building in the uncontrollable aspects to the best of your abilities. This is a perfect role for someone that understands production planning, what steps you need to take to create a plan and excellent communication skills to get the information you require to deliver a successful programme.
This role would be ideal for someone from either of the following sectors:
GasQualifications & Experience:
Sector knowledge from either Water, Gas, Power or Electric sectors
Planning ability - Understanding the process you undertake when creating a flexible long-term plan with short term risk factors.PLEASE NOTE
