As a Market Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving both sales and marketing strategies to grow market demand for specification services.

World's leading supplier of Automotive Coatings are looking for a Market Development Manager to join their team.

Description
  • Evaluate market conditions and construction industry drivers and use this knowledge to build and promote winning propositions for the Key Account/Influencer audience.
  • Identify and oversee the acquisition strategies and data management for Key Account/Influencer contacts.
  • Design and activate strong sales and marketing initiatives across both digital & physical touchpoints.
  • Direct and oversee the Marketing Mix to ensure that the content positioning and proposed activation is aligned with the target audience & business objectives.
  • Review new digital technologies across the wider market and if approved, manage the projects through to delivery.
  • Develop sales tools and initiatives, including materials and training to develop stronger business development capabilities.
  • Develop performance dashboards and reports to track deliverables and evaluate the effectiveness of key activities, using this insight to propose and implement action plans to strengthen performance.
  • Prepare, implement and manage the annual marketing budget for Specification so that is focused on growing and developing existing business as well as generating top line growth.

Profile
  • Significant experience within Commercial or Marketing orientated roles, with a solid understanding of the construction industry in a B2B environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, focused around building consensus, impact and influence and resolving conflict.
  • Outstanding project management and organisational skills with the ability to recognise key priorities and focus efforts where it will give the best return.
  • Ability to prepare reports and presentations, analysing and disseminating information in a clear and concise manner, turning insight into action.
