A Project Manager is required for our public sector client based in Liverpool. The successful candidate will define the user requirements of specific IT projects and to consider, propose and specify the project solutions which meet these requirements. The successful candidate will plan, coordinate and project manage the implementation of specific IT application projects to the agreed specifications and to define costs and schedules.
You will coordinate complex IT and Business projects concurrently. Therefore, the role demands extensive experience of project or programme management and the use of formal project management techniques and systems to deliver and implement IT systems within a complex, constantly changing environment.
Significant project management experience, particularly in the delivery of business change, will be essential. You must have business analytical skills and general IT systems knowledge, particularly software implementation skills. Professional reporting and administrative skills are necessary to ensure IT policies and procedures are followed.
