About the Job
You'll be accountable for the delivery of a comprehensive onsite integrated FM service including hard and soft services. As you'll be managing a complex and varied workload: day-to-day operations, people management, budget management, contractor management and customer relationships. You'll be responsible in ensuring the building and services are legislative compliant and the environment to work in is fit for purpose.
It'll be challenging to manage contractors to deliver work within the set Service Level Agreements, whilst managing all depot activities within your set budget, but it'll be second nature to you with your experience and ability manage and deliver to set budgets and SLAs. It'll be imperative you understand the importance of delivering on all aspects of this role, as it'll ensure all colleagues coming to work over 24/7 365 days are always within a safe environment and it'll be rewarding to see the positive impact you have on the client and our colleagues.

You'll be proactive, resilient and able to 'hit the ground running', with exceptional interpersonal skills. You'll have the ability to work collaboratively with the client and other departments. Whilst the role can be demanding and challenging, you'll be able to deal with the pressure with ease.

You'll currently be working within a similar Depot Facilities Management role, ideally within a retail distribution centre, preferably refrigerated. You'll have experience in managing a technical and non-technical team. You'll have the experience and ability to challenge contractors and your own team as and when required.
Reporting directly into the Operations Manager, you'll be directly managing and responsible for 4 Depot Engineers and 1 Hygiene Manager. Overall, you will be supporting up to a team of 35 colleagues. You'll be working 40 hours a week across Mon - Fri, with a degree of flexibility due to business requirements.
