We are looking for an experienced Grants and Trust fundraiser to join our team. Do you have a track record of securing substantial amounts of income from a wide range of relevant funding sources? Fundamental to this role will be the ability to write successful funding bids, and you should have demonstrable experience in this area alongside a knowledge of Hospice care.Location: Hybrid working (St John's Hospice, Lancaster and home)Hours: 22.5 per weekRole Type: PermanentPay: £27,045 per annum (pro rata)Closing Date: 7th November 2021JOB PURPOSEAs a key member of the wider income generation team you will lead on income growth from charitable trustsand foundations. You will solely be responsible for trusts and foundation applications and relationshipmanagement with funders. You will work to maximise on the grant needs of the hospice whilst working withkey audiences and a wide range of stakeholders to create an effective income stream.The post holder will be highly skilled, effective communicator who writes compelling well-researched fundingapplications and who collaborates with multiple internal and external stakeholders to maximise fundingopportunities. You will be responsible for ensuring notifications of grants and trusts are dealt with effectively,in order to achieve annual income targets. This role will involve working collaboratively across all directoratesto raise the profile of the hospice and secure the wellbeing of patients, carers and their families.
