As a Humanities teacher you'll will be given the opportunity to work alongside a team of experienced professionals focused on high expectations, good teaching and ambition for every pupil. The role will consist of Geography Teaching or History teaching to Key stages 3 and 4 to pupils in both mixed ability and streamed classes. You may also be required to support other Humanities subjects at KS3 within this tight knit and collaborative department. The is a very well equipped school with enthusiastic SLT who are looking for an enthusiastic and professional teacher focused on engaging lessons to inspire pupils many of which progress to Oxbridge and other higher level universities. You must be willing to plan and mark lessons and understand the importance of raising attainment. Leadership in the school work collaboratively and will a clear vision for all pupils and staff alike.
Located on the outskirts of St Albans the school offers parking and a 5-minute walk from well supplied, local bus stops.
* Delivering Geography or History across Key stage 3 & 4.
