How can you change it up?Working as part of a dedicated team, this role involves the preparation and management of key contractual information and documentation with respect to our evolving build methodology ensuring that as we tender the information provided is up to date and complete, as well as the process to manage change within our existing contracts.

This role is critical in ensuring we stay in front of any changes in our build method, and develop the corresponding method of measure, amendments to the bill of quantities and assessment of target costs to perform. You'll be providing commercial support to the Head of Pre-Contracts and acting as an integral part of any major tenders including supplier clarification sessions, evaluation, contract development and award decisions. Liaising with Contracts and Delivery/Operational teams, you'll ensure our contracts deliver programme of build required.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Negotiating fit for purpose construction contracts, with our supply chain, which will enable CityFibre to deliver their 8 million homes capex programme
  • Completing key drafting of NEC 3 contracts for any awards, ensuring schedules and plans are aligned
  • Acting as a single point of contact for all Regional supplier decisions, working with the Regional Contract Manager to ensure a seamless contracting experience for suppliers and delivery teams
What will you bring to the role?We are looking for a proactive and customer focused individual with experience of telecommunications network construction work activities. You will need to be able top work autonomously without supervision and have a determination to succeed.

This position within CityFibre would suit if you are experienced in preparing, tendering, negotiating and administering construction contracts, and are able to work in a fast-moving environment. You will be able you deliver win-win and sustainable outcomes of these negotiations for both the client and the contractor. You'll also need;
  • Working knowledge of NEC3 contracts, from preparation through to negotiation and signature
  • The ability to successfully engage with senior stakeholders, creating and maintaining relationships
  • Excellent communication, numerical and computer literacy skills including commercial software.
  • Knowledge of Construction Law
  • Strong data analysis abilities
