Cash Carry Manager
Assistant Manager will have organisational and management responsibilities, reporting directly to the Cash & Carry Director. Because the business operates on a 6-day week basis, Assistant Managers must be able to deputise for Store Managers and efficiently run a FMCG Cash & Carry branch dealing with all aspects of site management, including sales, stock control, health & safety, personnel and general administration.

Cash Carry Manager Responsibilities
* To act as first point of contact for all queries from staff, customers and suppliers
* To manage Cash & Carry staff
* To review job applications and arrange interviews as required
* To update the staff on company policies, procedures and rules changes in meetings
* To oversee and assist with stock control and ordering including organising and undertaking the quarterly stock-checks and ensuring goods are always in stock
* To log customer complaints and process as necessary
* To attend meetings, conferences and training days relevant to projects
* To handle investigations and meetings for grievance and disciplinary procedure
* To undertake any other project work that may be reasonably assigned from time to time
* To organise and provide training for Cash & Carry staff
Cash Carry Manager Technical skills
* Must speak English fluently
* Ability to read and write English
* Must be able to work weekends
* *Must hold a valid U.K. Driving License
* *Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
Cash Carry Manager Personal specification
* Ability to work independently on own initiative with minimal supervision
* Ability to interpret and apply company policies
* Ability to analyse customer needs and make recommendation based on sound business knowledge and commercial acumen
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to respond flexibly to change
* Understanding of and ability to maintain confidentiality
* Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm for working with a varied client group which includes retail and warehouse staff
* Good multicultural awareness
