Monarch Education are working with a range of schools in Bristol and Gloucestershire, therefore Monarch are seeking a range of educational professionals to fill demand within the schools for short term and long-term positions.

A Supply Teacher's main responsibility is to take charge for an assigned class in a range of subjects within our primary schools. You will be expected to deliver the lesson set by the class teacher, ensure children are on task and manage any behaviour if needed. You may be in a range of schools within your local area or situated more commonly in one school.

This role can be either a part time or full-time position and has potential to be either permanent or temporary dependant on your preference and availability.

Within this job you will be responsible for full class teacher responsibilities including:-

Monitoring and evaluating pupils' progress to raise pupil attainment.
Supporting and implementing the curriculum by providing booster and intervention sessions to raise standards within the classroom.
Working with a child's strengths and weaknesses to support their development
Helping to create a stimulating and motivating environment for children. We are ideally looking for someone with;

A formal teaching qualification
