Head of Finance - UK Charity supporting young children

Reed Finance are proud to have been appointed exclusive recruitment partners to a UK Charity in securing their next Head of Finance on an interim basis .

An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a talented individual to join the Charity in the capacity of Head of Finance, reporting directly into the Chief Executive and as the number 1 in finance.

This is an interim role for 6 months, with scope to go permanenet.

As a member of the senior leadership team management team, you will be tasked to:
  • Overall running of the finance team
  • Overseeing and supervising all accounting operations - payroll, reconciliations, and general ledger
  • Coordinating and completing year end process
  • To support and assist the CEO as and when required

In order to be successful, you will ideally be a fully Qualified Accountant with previous experience in a small-medium sized charity(£1-5) ideally with exceptional management experience.

This is an organisation that truly values its people and such, is a great responsibility to nurture, coach, support and effectively manage their teams.

The position will be 2 days in the office and 3 days remote, offering the flexibility to candidates on working patterns.
