Account Manager - IT Managed Services

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well established and highly ambitious IT MSP with a great product set, strong alliances and a growing client base. The role is principally focused on unlocking the huge potential of their existing customers by building and capitalising on relationships at CxO level, with an additional opportunity to bring in new customers. Solutions are focused the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly M365.

Account Manager - duties
  • Selling Microsoft-centric managed IT services and professional services
  • Creation and execution of account management plans for assigned customers
  • Building customer relationships at CxO level and providing trusted guidance
  • Working as customer champion, liaising with relevant areas internally
  • Developing and maintaining accurate sales forecasts
  • Staying on top of key industry trends and how they may relate to your customers


Account Manager - requirements
  • Proven track record in selling IT Managed Services (this is essential)
  • Experience of growing accounts, engaging at senior level
  • Good understanding of the Microsoft product set, especially M365, Azure
  • Strong organisation, planning and time management
  • First-class communication skills


The company is based in Bedfordshire, though there are opportunities for remote working: customers are typically based across the southern half of England, so it's not especially important where you're located, provided you're happy to travel to visit clients and the office on occasion
