Category Manager - FTC 12months
I am currently looking for an IT category manager, to support strategic procurement leadership, advice, and expertise for the non-clinical spend category to support IT and Digital Projects, supporting the Digital Team in the delivery of the Digital Aspirant Projects. Manage internal operations and resources to enable the delivery of the vision, business plans, saving targets and day to day operations. Build professional relationships with all stakeholders, initiate and lead change to enable all staff to deliver savings and quality improvements. Work to improve the service, support innovation, enhance expertise and build procurement capability and capacity.
You will be involved in building and maintain a strong stakeholder relationship, communicate effectively, and provide highly complex information to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including representing the Procurement function at internal and external forums.
You will be asked to:
- Manage the IT digital category to support the category manager and IT digital project[DD1] team
- Provide expert commercial knowledge and guidance in all matters related to IT and Digital systems, digital and marketing technology.
- Reinforce and promote best procurement practices to ensure end users are following proper buying channel guidance
- Proactively organise sessions with internal customers to identify procurement opportunities that lead to improvements in patient care.
