Digital Marketing Manager

Hours: Monday - Friday

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Full Time, Permanent

Location: Flexible - Must be able to attend the Tunbridge Wells office once a fortnight

My client is a leading and expanding motor insurance group who are renowned for their staff reward and recognition and are ranked highly in The Times Top 30 Big Companies to work for in the UK.


The role requires a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. The Digital Marketing Manager will work with the marketing team, supporting teams and business areas to launch campaigns on time and on budget.

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, and display advertising campaigns
  • Devising strategies to drive online traffic to company websites
  • Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website
  • Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns
  • Utilising a range of techniques including email marketing and customer experience
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimise spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimise user experience
  • Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Instrument conversion points and optimise user funnels
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

  • A minimum of 3-4 years' experience in digital marketing, ideally with a marketing related qualification
  • Proven success from working in a similar role previously
  • Ambitious, confident character, eager to make their mark within a fast-growing company
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Highly organised and ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads
  • Creative flair, being able to put forward innovative campaign ideas
  • Familiarity updating websites via a Content Management System
  • Experience using an email marketing platform and creating campaigns and content
  • Good SEO \ PPC knowledge and understanding
  • Demonstrate awareness and understanding of the importance behind social media as a successful digital channel for businesses
  • Exposure to estimating and managing budgets for campaigns
  • Confident producing reports via Google Analytics
