Office Manager | Temporary | East Sussex | £15 per hour

Reed Business Support are supporting a local college who are seeking an Office Manager on a temporary basis, to start ASAP. This will be a full time position with the working hours of 8.30am-5pm. This opportunity has the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

As the role of Office Manager, you will oversee the processes of recording all student related data. You will also have direct reports who will assist you to ensure efficient and accurate operations.

Main Office Manager Duties
  • Ensure the team are deployed operationally in an efficient and effective manner, regularly reviewing and balancing the workload. Ensure key services are adequately resourced during office hours.
  • Utilise and develop the key college systems to ensure learners are effectively enrolled, registered, tracked and examined.
  • Lead on the enrolment processes for the College; manage the deployment of staff to ensure availability to effectively enrol learners.
  • Lead on the accurate and timely collection of data; ensure compliance with audit requirements.
  • Effectively evaluate and resolve complaints and issues related to registry functions.
  • Support the administration of student related data at peak times of demand.

Experience and Skills Required:
  • Experience of working in education, ideally within the Further Education sector.
  • Experience of managing staff effectively.
  • Intermediate Excel user.
  • Strong communication, demonstrating the ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders across the college.
  • Experience of working with student record systems.
  • Experience of handling large volumes of data.
