Rate: up to £37.03/hr Ltd (c£28.51/hr PAYE option)

Position Description :

UK Finance Business Partnering Senior Analyst

The Aftermarket Inventory Finance team act as business partners to the Inventory Management and Supply Chain Operations teams ensuring that costs are controlled, and financial targets are met. In your role as a Business Partnering Analyst, you will be helping to fuel our growth on a global scale from day one. Your role will be to monitor and control the inventory levels, scrap and obsolescence costs in our global warehouses by building strong working relationships with external service providers and the in-house operations team. You will support the automation of processes and reporting.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
  • Manage compliance of warehouses with JLRs Perpetual Inventory Count programme
  • Cross functional working with the wider Aftermarket Supply Chain community to deliver automation of financial reporting
  • Prepare and present financial information such as results, forecasts and budgets to ensure strategic objectives are met
  • Support the Functional Managers to achieve short and long term strategic objectives by delivering plans and initiatives through Finance Business Partnering Review, challenge and approval of non-standard inventory sourcing decisions
  • Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested

Essential Skills and Experience Required:
  • Previous experience in Finance Business Partner role gained at a similar level
  • Sound financial and commercial business insight shown through evidence of developing, introducing new or innovative practices/processes in support of strategic business goals
  • Strong numerical, analytical skills supported by communication and presentation skills - used to translate financial issues for operational teams
  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and the ability to balance delivery of conceptual work with attention to detail and hands on delivery
  • A sound analytical background
  • An individual with a customer first mindset who is easy to do business with and makes people feel special, driven to deliver experiences that are personalised, transparent and dependable
  • An individual, who works independently, is results driven, demonstrating tenacity, drive and perseverance with the ability to deliver operational plans in a complex, highly demanding environment.

Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Strong IT skills, particularly with Excel
  • Proven strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and nurture relationships within internal operations and externally with suppliers
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement mind set with the ability to identify and implement solutions and enhancements
  • Previous experience of analytics tools such as Tableau and Google Big Query
  • Previous experience of inventory counting

Education Required:

Degree or relevant equivalent experience preferred

CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified
