We have an opening for a Finance Business Partner to play a key role in providing challenge and support to the business in order to achieve the British Business Bank's (BBB) strategic plan.
As a high-profile, prestigious organisation at the forefront of the government's efforts to help finance markets work better so that businesses across the UK can survive, prosper and grow, you will join a Finance department who are responsible for finance business partnering and for the reporting of financial information in relation to the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) funded programmes managed by British Business Bank.
You will act as a Business Partner liaison between Finance and central functions. You will provide monthly and quarterly financial reporting between BBB and BEIS and lead EPM reporting.
You will provide BEIS monthly management accounts information for inclusion in Management Accounts, agree BEIS investment valuations and provide journals for posting to BEIS ledger, and reconciliation and control of BEIS ledger relating to BBB supported products.
You will act as the Finance lead on the Regional Programmes and lead on Enterprise Finance Guarantees valuations; working with BI Senior Manager and BEIS financial accountants to update EFG ledger valuations to reflect latest model.
It is essential that you have knowledge of government accounting and budgeting categories and experience of working in a management accounting environment, ideally in a public sector environment. You will have experience of Access Dimensions, Oracle, EPM, and SAGE finance systems, and experience of producing accurate analysis and reports for stakeholders. It is also desirable that you have a background in finance business partnering.
