Java Developer / Backend Software Engineer (Multi-threading Real-time). Global commodities trading firm is seeking a skilled Java Developer with real-time development experience. Joining an Agile development team you will design and develop real-time pricing components which drive all trading decisions and are vital to the business.

The company prides itself on innovation, they're currently migrating to a microservices environment with Azure using SpringBoot and Kubernetes; you'll be able to evaluate new technologies and introduce to them to the stack, continually seeking improvement and taking ownership across the full development lifecycle.

There's a remote interview process and the option to work from home 2 days a week going forward.

Requirements:
*You have advanced core Java development skills including multi-threading and concurrency
*You have experience with real-time, low latency systems
*You have a good knowledge of MS SQL Server and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, ElasticSearch)
*You're familiar with Cloud based technologies, Azure ideally; microservices; SpringBoot, Kubernetes
*Ideally you will have an understanding of financial markets
*You have excellent communication skills; you'll be liaising with business stakeholders as well as technical colleagues
