Test Engineering Manager - Luton - £35,000 - £45,000 pa

An Aerospace Engineering Electronics Manufacturer are looking for a new Test Engineering Manger to oversee the governance, assurance, and delivery of testing across the organisation in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of all test areas including AOI, X-Ray, Flying Probe, Functional Test, J-Tag and Boundary Scan
  • Implementation of effective procedures to ensure programming and test development work is completed in line with production output requirements
  • To drive through changes to test processes, working practices and internal systems which will improve quality, throughput & yield
  • Ensuring quality principles & standards can be applied & adhered to throughout manufacturing
  • Completion of build reports in real time with product introductions
  • Responsible for the development, definition and implementation of effective maintenance plans for all test equipment
  • Implementation of effective and controlled configuration & data management processes relating to test
    Key Skills/ Experience:
    • HNC/ HND/ Degree qualified
    • Thorough knowledge of electronic components
    • Thorough understanding of manufacturing environment
    • Experience of Microsoft products including Excel & Word
    • Experience of using ERP systems and databases
    • Previous experience in a similar role
    • Demonstrable experience of managing multiple projects
